Come Back to Wai`oli Tea Room

A brief history of The Salvation Army Waioli Tea Room in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Located at:  2950 Manoa Rd, Honolulu, HI (808) 988-5800

Built in 1922, the Tea Room served as an adjunct vocational training center for young women in residence at the adjoining Children's Home which was established by The Salvation Army in 1909.  After a brief closure for renovations, The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) in Honolulu has re-opened the Waioli Tea Room.  Current Waioli Tea Room employees have become Salvation Army employees and have received orientation and training making service and quality their #1 priority.

On December 19th, Waioli Tea Room employees were treated to their first annual Christmas party.  Just a small way of showing appreciation for all that they have accomplished in the past few months.
